The Piano by Ear Series for Children allows the piano teacher to provide additional training to the student in the art of playing by ear. All the great pianists and piano composers could play anything they had heard even one time; this art has been lost over the years.
These books provide a method for re-developing the skill and doing it as an adjunct to conventional note reading. The teacher is provided with all the tools needed to accomplish this. Accompaniments for use with the student playing the melody line are provided both in notated form and played on the CD.
